The Challenge
PureBuild Homes originally had a WordPress-based website that was outdated and difficult to manage. It had been designed before smartphones were invented. It did not function well on mobile devices. The design was static and looked too small on larger screens. Therefore, a fresh design was needed to present a modern, high-quality online identity.
The Solution
I created a new custom website from scratch with WordPress at its core. It features a highly responsive layout that shows off the beautiful images of PureBuild’s work on any size screen. I worked closely with the client’s team to update the photos on the site with new, higher-resolution images.
The Result
The PureBuild website now features full-width images at the top of every page, as well as a full-width slideshow on the home page and beautiful galleries of work throughout the site. The high-resolution images use a feature called lazy loading so that pages load quickly even with dozens of high-quality images. Gallery image thumbnails pop open as full-screen images when clicked.
Other custom sections of the site include news and media, a page with descriptions of the team members, a contact form and more.
We are thoroughly pleased with Raven’s Eye Design LLC’s revamp of our website. We initially contacted Chad in order to upgrade the security of our website. However, upon review, we decided our content and format needed updating. Chad designed our site to be compatible with all devices. He also helped us reorganize the flow of the content and redesign the layout of our pages. He advised us on the usability of our images and assisted with proofreading text.

Chad was flexible about scheduling in-person meetings and responded promptly to our emails. Though Chad is well-versed in technical language and trends, we are less so and his explanations for his recommendations were clearly expressed in a manner that made sense.
