The Challenge

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe Charitable Organization (PYTCO) had a website built with a prefabricated WordPress theme that lacked graphic design and didn’t have needed features. It collected donations using primitive PayPal buttons and needed a better donation system. Also, an e-commerce system and a modern WordPress system to make everything easier to edit were needed.

The Solution

I worked with the director to create a new website from scratch, using a custom design and a customized installation of WordPress that leverages the latest editing technology and a modern blog setup. I also set up a WooCommerce online store that makes it easy for PYTCO to sell merchandise.

The Result

The new PYTCO website features an easy-to-use donation system built with Gravity Forms that makes it simple for visitors to donate in either preset or open-ended amounts using a credit card. It also features clear information organization with direct links to the various causes to which visitors can contribute. Easy-to-edit image sliders, downloadable forms and a blog that’s easy to publish also are included.

Chad is an excellent web designer and is very easy to work with. He is friendly, and explains the concepts well, especially to those of us who are not well-versed in code and web design. I would highly recommend his work as a graphic artist and web designer.
